

Pljeskavica
Pljeskavica is a traditional Serbian spiced meat patty, similar to a burger but often larger and more flavorful. It’s commonly stuffed with cheese or ham.
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 300 g ground pork
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika, salt, and pepper
- Optional: cheese or ham for stuffing
Method:
- Mix all ingredients well; form large, flat patties.
- If desired, stuff with cheese or ham.
- Grill or fry for 5–6 minutes per side.
- Serve in flatbread with onions and kajmak.
