Japrak are grape leaves stuffed with a savory rice and meat mixture, cooked until tender. They’re similar to dolma and often served with lemon or yogurt.

Ingredients:

  • 30 grape leaves
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 100 g rice
  • 1 onion, minced
  • Lemon juice, salt, pepper

Method:

  1. Mix meat, rice, onion, and spices.
  2. Place a spoonful on each leaf, roll tightly.
  3. Arrange in a pot, cover with water and lemon juice.
  4. Simmer for 45–60 minutes.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
